Sanremo

An extraordinary day in search of the great cetaceans that inhabit the Mediterranean and pass in front of our Riviera, already named “Costa Balenae” by the Romans.

  • In the late morning, transfer to the port of Sanremo for boarding on the motor vessel Corsara. Accompanied by a marine biologist, you will depart on this exciting 6-hour journey in search of whales, sperm whales, and dolphins.
  • The “Pelagos Cetacean Sanctuary”, which spans the stretch of sea between Liguria, Elba, and Corsica, was established in 1993 by Italy, France, and the Principality of Monaco as proof of the international relevance this phenomenon has reached in recent years. Its aim is to protect the over 2,000 cetaceans belonging to eight different species that populate the Ligurian Sea during the summer season.
  • The excursion is available from June to October for individual guests.
  • The excursion is available year-round by reservation for groups of at least 50 people.
  • The excursion will not take place in case of adverse weather conditions.
