“The Gastronomic Treasures of the Ligurian Riviera“
(4 days – 3 nights)

DAY 1

Arrival in the afternoon, hotel check-in and overnight stay.

DAY 2: The City of Olive Oil

In the morning, transfer to Imperia to visit the Isnardi company, which has been bottling its extra virgin olive oil since 1908 just as it comes out of the mill. Inside, you will have the opportunity to see an old blood-powered press and a water-powered mill, along with an ancient pharmacy featuring a rare collection of oil cruets.

For lunch, we will offer a tasting of typical local products.

In the afternoon, visit to the Raineri company, founded in 1910, where you can witness the various stages of production of “cold-pressed” extra virgin olive oil.

Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3: Nervia Valley, Land of Rossese

In the morning, transfer to Dolceacqua, the jewel of the Nervia Valley: a delightful medieval village adorned with a donkey-back bridge and the ruins of the Doria castle. Here, among artisan workshops, you can discover the true nectar of the Riviera: Rossese di Dolceacqua, a fine red wine with an intense flavor.

At lunchtime, visit the Gajaudo family winery, where you can taste the full range of Riviera wines, accompanied by delicious local specialties.

In the afternoon, visit the ancient medieval village of Apricale, clinging to the alpine slopes with its narrow alleys, where you can enjoy the oldest Ligurian snack: zabaione with pansarole, small fritters dusted with powdered sugar.

Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4: Imperia and its Historic Center

In the morning, transfer to Porto Maurizio, characterized by its old historic center perched on the promontory known as Parasio, with the cathedral square overlooked by the College Palace and the Palace of the Police Headquarters. Don’t miss the visit to the Logge di Santa Chiara and the adjacent convent founded in 1365, still inhabited by cloistered Clarisse nuns.

Departure at the end of the excursion.
