Acquario di Genova

An exciting day in search of the glory of the Maritime Republic of Genoa and the discovery of the thousands of marine species hosted at the Genoa Aquarium, set against the backdrop of the magnificent Old Port.

  • In the morning, transfer to Genoa for a visit to the now-famous Aquarium. Fifty-nine tanks holding four million liters of water spectacularly recreate the habitats of the Mediterranean, the oceans, the poles, and the tropics, allowing more than five hundred species of fish, cetaceans, and amphibians to live and reproduce. A suspended walkway over a stunning aquatic landscape will lead you into the fantastic world of seals, while in another setting, you’ll have the chance to approach and touch graceful rays.
  • In the afternoon, visit the immersive Pavilion of the Sea and Navigation, which offers its visitors a new way to explore the world of maritime history, with an undeniably evocative layout that recreates ancient Genoese atmospheres, featuring old docks, historic artisan workshops, and realistic reconstructions of various ship environments, from brigantines to ocean liners.
