An important stop in the discovery of prehistory is the recently opened Musée des Merveilles in Tenda, dedicated to the rock engravings of the Monte Bégo region. It tells the story of this open-air heritage with a permanent collection and temporary exhibitions. Of great educational interest are the six life-sized dioramas depicting the life of pastoral populations from the Bronze Age to the present day.
From Tenda, it is possible to organize a walking tour along the trails of the Valley of Wonders, rich in rock engravings and spectacular, unspoiled scenery.
