Founded in 1867 by Sir Thomas Hanbury, they were restored to their former glory by the University of Genoa in 1983. Of the total 18 hectares, 9 are covered with native species and 9 with exotic flora. Notable highlights include Australian forest plants, the Japanese garden, and cycads from the Far East.<\/li>\n<p>    <\/p>\n<li>In the area, visit the prehistoric <strong>Balzi Rossi caves<\/strong> and the adjacent museum, with a possible stop at the charming white-pebble beach nestled among cliffs overlooking the sea\u2014one of the most breathtaking views in Liguria.<\/li>\n<p>    <\/p>\n<li>Return along the Aurelia road with the option to visit the <strong>Pallanca Garden<\/strong> in Bordighera, rich in cacti from all corners of the world\u2014a truly unique garden.<\/li>\n<p>    <\/p>\n<li>Upon request, it is also possible to visit one of the many <strong>greenhouses<\/strong> where the famous Sanremo flowers are cultivated and exported all over the
