<\/details>\n <\/p>\n The first day challenges your muscles with the original route of the Gran Fondo \u201cCarlo Dapporto\u201d. Two routes are possible.<\/p>\n The \u201cshort\u201d one: 99 km with a total elevation gain of 1,349 m along the route Sanremo \u2013 Arma di Taggia \u2013 Imperia \u2013 Pontedassio \u2013 Chiusavecchia \u2013 Cesio\u2013Colle San Bartolomeo \u2013 Colle d\u2019Oggia (1,207 m a.s.l.) \u2013 Carpasio \u2013 Badalucco \u2013 Taggia \u2013 Arma di Taggia \u2013 Sanremo.<\/p>\n The \u201clong\u201d one: 145 km with 2,038 m of elevation gain, adding a loop from Cesio to Passo del Ginestro (677 m a.s.l.) \u2013 Testico \u2013 Crocetta \u2013 Madonna della Guardia \u2013 Case Bivio Garlenda \u2013 Garlenda \u2013 Casanova Lerrone \u2013 Vellego \u2013 Passo del Ginestro.<\/p>\n Route of medium-high technical difficulty for the 99 km circuit, high for the 145 km one.<\/p>\n Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.<\/p>\n <\/details>\n <\/p>\n Following the route of a historic stage of the 2001 Giro d\u2019Italia: a short but punchy circuit, with wide variety of routes that change over just a few kilometers. An atypical course, ideal for classic climbers but offering opportunities for attackers too.<\/p>\n The route follows the Via Aurelia through Ospedaletti, Bordighera, Vallecrosia, Camporosso Mare and into the Nervia Valley toward Dolceacqua and Isolabona. It continues toward Apricale (350 m a.s.l.) and climbs to Baiardo (900 m a.s.l., first KOM), then Passo Ghimbegna (840 m), San Romolo, down to Sanremo via San Giacomo, then climbs again toward Poggio (in the reverse direction of the Milano\u2013Sanremo), Ceriana, Passo Ghimbegna again, San Romolo, and back to Sanremo for the finish.<\/p>\n Route of medium-high technical difficulty, approx. 119 km.<\/p>\n Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.<\/p>\n <\/details>\n <\/p>\n On your rest day, we propose exploring the natural beauty and flavors of the Riviera.<\/p>\n Transfer to Dolceacqua, birthplace of Andrea Doria, to visit the castle ruins, old town, and medieval bridge. We also recommend a visit to the Visionarium, which showcases life in the valley through the four seasons.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t miss a visit to the Rossese DOC vineyards with optional wine tasting or lunch at a traditional restaurant.<\/p>\n In the afternoon, visit the Hanbury Gardens, one of the world\u2019s most important botanical gardens. Founded in 1867 by Sir Thomas Hanbury and restored by the University of Genoa in 1983, the garden spans 18 hectares: 9 of wild vegetation and 9 of exotic flora. Highlights include plants from Australian forests, a Japanese garden, and cycads from the Far East.<\/p>\n Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.<\/p>\n <\/details>\n <\/p>\n Today\u2019s itinerary offers unique highlights. The first section follows the Aurelia in reverse toward Imperia. Then you climb toward Tesio and Passo del Ginestro, continue to Testico, and descend back to the Aurelia at Marina di Andora.<\/p>\n From there, it\u2019s all about Milano\u2013Sanremo: the Cipressa loop and the legendary Poggio climb, followed by the descent into Via Roma in Sanremo (historic finish line) and the Lungomare Calvino, where champions battle it out in recent editions.<\/p>\n Route of medium technical difficulty, approx. 110 km.<\/p>\n Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.<\/p>\n <\/details>\n <\/p>\n A ride in the French Riviera couldn\u2019t be missed, with its magical scenery accompanying every pedal stroke. Starting from Sanremo, follow the Aurelia through Ospedaletti, Bordighera, Menton, and Cap Martin, reaching the Principality of Monaco.<\/p>\n In Monte Carlo, challenge yourself on the 2009 Tour de France time trial route, which largely overlaps with the Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit.
