Sanremo MTB Tour
(7 DAYS – 6 NIGHTS)
The Sanremo MTB Tour itineraries are full of surprises: from excursions in natural parks to adventurous climbs towards the most beautiful mountain peaks of the Ligurian Riviera. Discover them with us!
Day 1
Arrival in Sanremo, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 – San Romolo Nature Park
For your first day on the beloved mountain bike, we’ve planned a fairly challenging route, featuring the most scenic single tracks of the San Romolo – Monte Bignone Nature Park (1300 m), where each pedal stroke is accompanied by breathtaking views. Departure from Sanremo, continuing to San Romolo, ascending to Monte Carparo, then descending from Monte Nero and following the coastal route from Ospedaletti back to Sanremo.
Intermediate to high difficulty route, approx. 40 km, maximum altitude 1259 m above sea level.
Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3
Scenic route close to the city of Sanremo. It features one of the most demanding climbs in the area, the legendary firebreak “Croce della Parà – Bignone”, followed by a very technical single track. The climb includes shortcuts and cement farm roads, leading to the firebreak trail to Monte Bignone (1300 m).
The descent begins immediately via a single track with rocky slabs and stones — a real thrill for technical trail lovers. After the trails, mule tracks lead to Baragallo and then paved roads back to the hotel.
High technical difficulty, medium endurance, max altitude 650 m.
Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 – Rest Day
Day off from biking — we suggest visiting the famous Principality of Monaco. Before entering the city, visit the Exotic Garden of Monte Carlo, home to over 6,000 plant varieties and cacti from around the world, offering an unparalleled coastal view.
Near the harbor, you can reach the old town on the rock and visit the famous Oceanographic Museum and witness the traditional changing of the guard at the Prince’s Palace, open to visitors from May to October. Enjoy lunch in local bistros among artisan shops. In the afternoon, a stop at elegant Place du Casino is a must — maybe even try your luck at the gaming tables and slot machines.
Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 – The Hills of Ospedaletti
Back in the saddle, the route departs from central Sanremo towards San Romolo via paved roads and mule tracks. A scenic single track climb through the woods reaches the summit of Monte Carparo (905 m), overlooking Sanremo and Ospedaletti.
The descent, all via technical single track, leads down to Ospedaletti. Typical Ligurian stairs and mule tracks bring you to the Aurelia road, then back to Sanremo.
Medium technical difficulty, max altitude 900 m, approx. 35 km.
Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6
This scenic and exciting itinerary partially follows the old DH trail from Bignone to San Romolo and includes two beautiful and technical trails: “Scogli Rossi – Borello” and “Corbezzoli”.
The climb is demanding, leading to the antennas on Monte Bignone (approx. 1300 m), followed by a technical DH descent sure to satisfy all challenging trail enthusiasts.
High difficulty route. Max altitude 1221 m, approx. 33 km.
Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7
After breakfast, departure for your place of origin.
