“Food and Wine Fair in Imperia“
(3 days – 2 nights)
1° DAY
Arrive in the afternoon and settle in the hotel.
We will reserve a table for your dinner at a prestigious restaurant in the resort, where you can enjoy the aromas and flavours of Ligurian cuisine.
Return to the hotel, overnight stay.
2° DAY: Imperia
In the morning transfer to Imperia Oneglia for a visit to the Olioliva – Festa dell’olio nuovo event, where you can taste and buy typical products of the Riviera on display along the streets of the city and follow the ancient paths that lead to the landing areas of the fish at the first sale in the port, to the fishmongers and to the local restaurants. During the day you will be able to attend meetings with experts on extra virgin olive oil and typical products, and participate in educational activities including oil tasting courses.
Lunch in a typical restaurant in the town where you can taste Ligurian specialities.
In the afternoon transfer to the hinterland of Imperia for a visit to an artisanal oil mill, where you will appreciate the art of pressing the typical Taggiasca olive.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
3° DAY: Imperia hinterland
In the morning, transfer to the Imperia valleys, where you can take part in some of the numerous activities planned in the programme of the event, such as cooking lessons held by the area’s most expert chefs, visiting farms and artisan oil mills.
Free lunch.
If you choose to extend your stay during the week in Oneglia, you can book a visit to the ancient saponificio Risso, which uses oil to produce soaps and beauty products.
