An excursion to discover the most ancient historical roots of Liguria, with the prehistoric remains of Toirano and the historic centers of Finalborgo and Cervo.
- Transfer from Sanremo via highway to Toirano (70 km – approx. 50′).
- Visit to the beautiful Toirano Caves, rich in spectacular natural formations and traces of prehistoric inhabitants. The tour continues to the well-preserved medieval village of the town.
- Continue to Finale Ligure (15 km – approx. 20′), where you can visit the ancient medieval village of Finalborgo, enclosed within its walls and also offering interesting shopping opportunities.
- On the way back, stop in Cervo (40 km – approx. 30′).
- Visit to the old village which, uniquely in western Liguria, overlooks the sea and is dominated by the scenic and majestic Church of San Giovanni Battista, one of the most important examples of Baroque architecture in Liguria. At the top of the hill stands the Clavesana Castle, anchored to the bare rock, which today houses the Ethnographic Museum of Western Liguria.
- Return via highway from San Bartolomeo. (40 km – approx. 30′)
