A day that will lead you to discover the native flora of the Ligurian hinterland and the exotic wonders of the largest botanical garden in Europe.
In the morning, transfer to Dolceacqua in the Nervia Valley, from where a walking excursion will begin through the places of origin of the Doria family, doges of the proud maritime Republic of Genoa. The route winds its way through Dolceacqua, Isolabona, Apricale, and Perinaldo, revealing lush, resilient nature, lands of olive trees and vineyards, and delightful medieval villages that have preserved their most ancient traditions.
- In the afternoon, transfer to the Hanbury Gardens, in the locality of La Mortola: an exotic 18-hectare paradise created in 1867 by Sir Thomas Hanbury, who acclimatized species from all over the world there, collected during his countless travels.
- In every season, this garden showcases its grandeur through avenues, pergolas, greenhouses, terraces, and wells.
