Culinary specialities of Liguria and the Côte d’Azur

1° DAY

Arrival in the afternoon and accommodation in a hotel.
For your dinner we have reserved a table at a prestigious restaurant in the chosen location, where you can enjoy the aromas and flavours of the Ligurian cuisine.

2nd DAY: Nice and the delicacies of the French Riviera

In the morning transfer to Nice, where you will visit the Palazzo Lascaris, in Genoese Baroque style built in 1648 by the Lascaris-Ventimille family, with a very beautiful façade of balconies on pillars and columns with capitals decorated with garlands of flowers. Don’t miss the famous Promenade des Anglais, Place Massena and Cours Saleya with its characteristic bistros.
Free lunch to sample the specialities of Nice’s cuisine, with a suggestion to try the legendary Café de Turin in Place Garibaldi, home to seafood and oysters.
In the afternoon, we invite you to visit the Confiserie Florian in the port of Nice to discover the production of specialities from the south of France: you will see how fruits and flowers are transformed into sweet gourmandises, and how chocolate and candies made with essences of Provence are made.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

3rd DAY: Imperia city of oil

In the morning transfer to Imperia to visit the Museo dell’Olivo of the Fratelli Carli company. This is a unique work of art in terms of originality and content, bearing witness to the symbolic and cultural value of the oldest tree cultivated by man. Covering six thousand years of the history of Mediterranean civilisations, the rooms of the museum have been recreated to recreate the characteristic environments linked to the production of olive oil.
Free lunch, which can be taken in a typical Ligurian restaurant to savour some of Imperia’s specialities, accompanied by excellent local wine.
Early afternoon departure.
